Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
